Amazon Introduces New Kindle Fire HD

Amazon, and the Kindle Paperwhite also introduces the new HD, the next generation of the Android tablet that has become the best selling device in the store.

A bet that has become a real success, accounting for 22% of total sales of tablets within the United States.

Among other things, the new Fire Kindle HD includes:

  • 7 or 8.9 inches
  • 16GB or 32GB of storage memory
  • 1920×1200 resolution with IPS technology
  • OMAP processor of Texas Instruments 4470
  • A 254 pixels per inch density
  • Support for Wi-Fi networks and two antennas 5GHz to harness the full connection
  • Better battery performance
  • Audio Dolby Digital Plus exclusively developed for this device
  • HDMI Output
  • Bluetooth

By incorporating two Wi-Fi antennas and MIMO technology, the new Kindle HD can achieve connection speeds of 5GHz network of up to 31 megabits per second.

Another new feature of the new Kindle Fire HD is the ability to synchronize audio books textbooks, ie, you can start reading a book and audio change in exactly the same position. Called Whispersync technology also being applied to the game, by which progress can be synchronized to a particular game and not lose it if you change your device.

Kindle Fire HD also supports Exchange, like iOS or Android devices, through which you can set up accounts like Gmail, Outlook.com and others.
