Apple may be developing a smart watch with Intel

According to Chinese site Tech.163 , the smart watch that could be developed in conjunction with Intel, presumably to interact with devices, looks like it could come out in 2013.

Reportedly this Chinese portal, Apple is preparing a smart watch together with Intel, which would communicate with the iPhone via Bluetooth. Probably thanks to the inclusion of Bluetooth Smart clock battery could be more efficient. Other data that has come to light is that the screen would be made by PMOLED and RiTDisplay, a subsidiary of RITEK.

The screen size would be 1.5 “so we would have to see how it would set size, since the measures of this would look like the iPod Nano of the past generation. Perhaps now you see why Apple would not continued that trend for the new iPod Nano . seemed to use it as a watch was a good idea, even belts were created to carry but Apple introduced the new iPod nanos with a design that dismissed that idea.

This watch seems Apple smart resume that concept with a product specifically designed for this use. From my point of view we have to do, if you really confirms the rumor, how much autonomy and functions available will do. There is already talk of tasks using Siri, which should have a greater capacity development. Finally would see the endurance of the device. For example, if it was waterproof or not, how well they resist sweat and bruises, etc.

If we have to listen to the rumors would not have to wait too long for presentation and spoken mid 2013. From the moment the field has not finished smart watches takeoff. Sony has tried with its Smart Watch and Pebble has been a product that has received more funding on Kickstarter. But the first was a failure and the second successive faces delays, which make other competitors catch positions. Who knows if Apple will be one of them.
