Apple sells 3 million iPads in 3 days
On October 23, Apple officially launched the iPad Mini and the new fourth-generation iPad , two devices that have overtones of becoming one of the best sellers at this Christmas season, practically, has already begun. Both devices went on sale last Friday November 2 in 34 countries and, according to sales data, the reception of these devices has been spectacular since, during the first three days, has sold 3 million units .
Three million iPad devices were sold in the first three days that the ipad mini and fourth-generation iPad have “set foot” on the market (even though the versions that have been put up for sale are those have free Wi-Fi and no mobile interface). With this milestone, A pple beats its own record as the figure has doubled from 1.5 million units in the third-generation iPad in its first weekend and, as one would expect, Tim Cook himself has published a note of this fact:
A users around the world have loved the iPad mini and fourth-generation iPad.
We have reached a new sales record in launching devices, and virtually all the stock we sold out of iPad minis. We are working to make more units quickly to meet this incredible demand.
Clearly the iPad, especially the mini, was going to be a hit this season but, the truth is that the numbers are beyond any kind of prognosis. In fact, as reported by Apple mini iPad demand has exceeded the initial stock and many of the customers who had ordered in advance will have to wait until end of month to get your device (because they are exhausted).
Undoubtedly, this Christmas I think the iPad mini will be one of the star gifts.Tags: Apple, iPad Fourth Generation, ipad mini, records
