ASUS Live Tab, first transformer with Windows 8 tablets at IFA

Begins the first day of IFA 2012 with the arrival of many spectacular shots, and now Gizmodo is in Berlin to bring you all about it. Although when we mention what can be expected of this IFA tablets and talk about Windows 8, ASUS appears to show the ASUS Live Live Tab Tab and ASUS RT as their first announcements.

These are two models of tablets with the latest version of the Windows operating system, but as their names can indicate one of them will have a x86 processor and Windows Pro 8 while the second has an ARM processor and Windows RT. However, these are not his only differences.

  • CPU: NVidia Tegra 3 with 12-core GPU.
  • RAM: 2 GB.
  • Storage capacity of 32 GB.
  • 2 MP front camera.
  • 8 MP rear camera and LED flash.
  • NFC Chip.
  • Weight of 520 grams and thickness of 8.3 mm.

In addition to these wonderful technical performance, both models feature a dock with Full QWERTY keyboard to follow the trend of ASUS tablets make their type “Transformer” and give the user many facilities when wanting to write. However, these docks have more benefits, since they incorporate two USB 2.0 ports, trackpad and an extra battery.

For the time is unknown release date and price, but this has just begun.
