BlackBerry Messenger 7 now available with calls via WiFi

Research in Motion, better known simply as RIM, just made a pitch to cheer really important to users worldwide and attract new, as it simply adds a function to its already incredibly useful and recognized popular instant messaging platform. And is that BlackBerry Messenger 7, the new major upgrade to its messaging service, is now available in the revamped BlackBerry World , and brings the voice calling feature through WiFi networks, as we show in the following video:

A few weeks ago RIM announced BBM Voice , promising their users no longer have to leave Messenger to communicate with friends, relatives or any contact through third-party applications such as the popular Skype. Now from BBM can make calls via VoIP and simultaneously also enjoy other benefits of this platform messaging.

The calls have very good quality, and users in addition to using your own voice talking and writing countless characters, can share any type of content while making the call. That is, if you want to share a picture or write some text to the contact with whom you are speaking through BBM Voice, this is also possible without hanging up the call or having to leave the application.

But BBM Voice is not the only novelty that brings BBM 7 (even if the most important), and also includes improvements in notifications, new emoticons friendly and synchronization with the BlackBerry ID, which queire say that now the BBM profile, contacts and groups are synchronized with the user account BBID to quickly import a new terminal or one of the BlackBerry tablet PlayBook .

BlackBerry Messenger 7 is available for all terminals with BlackBerry 6 OS on the BlackBerry World store. According to its makers, plan to make it compatible with BB 5 OS devices in early 2013. If you do not see the update on your device, just wait up to 24 hours to reach your territory.
