Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, Halo miniseries with real actors

The Halo franchise is one of the most powerful franchises in the world of Video games, a game Series that beats all sales records lanzase market since the first title in November 2001. Fans of the series will surely have noted in their diaries a very special date, on Nov. 6, 2012, the day that it will release the eighth title: Halo 4 . With the idea to create a certain atmosphere around the release of the game and, incidentally, satisfy the hardcore fans of the series, Microsoft Studios (owner of the franchise) and 343 Industries have released a miniseries on YouTube today with real actors set in the universe: “Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn”.

The series, whose first chapter of almost 20 minutes we can see already, add about 90 minutes of footage that will be premiering every Friday on YouTube (in the channel Machinima Prime ) until 6 November when the game launches. The initiative is very interesting because the series is a way of advertising the game in addition to strengthening the ties with the fans of the series, especially since according to those responsible for 343 Industries (which is being developed by the latter title) in this new era of Halo history and a great storyline charged weight so the live-action series is a good complement.

Given that this is a series made specifically for release on YouTube, has spared no expense and production quality looks great, both in image and in effect, something that should be noted if we consider rumored minisierie that this has had a budget of $ 10 million that began shooting last January.

Late last month began circulating the first videos with the preview of the show and some interviews with the protagonists go with the idea of capturing an audience that has played 7 million times the published content (a number that will surely increase negligible enough with the premiere of the series and its development until 6 November).

In addition to its online availability is expected in December “Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn” is also made available on DVD and Bluray.
