Kim Dotcom reveals some pictures of the future Mega
Kim Dotcom was published today on his Twitter account some screenshots of his new project called Mega . In these pictures we see the encryption to be applied to each file uploaded to the platform, the login page and the file manager.
Much has happened since Megaupload closed earlier this year thus ending an era of free all very comfortable. Later in summer, Dotcom himself announced that its new platform would be available from the end of the year . However, in October relented and postponed the date of early 2013 . So far, there has been no further delay so it seems that in just over a month we will be enjoying the new Mega, which will surely give much to talk about.
We, for now, we can visit the website of the Mega future where we can enter our email address to automatically notify us of the news related to the platform. Today, the computer has proved controversial in Twitter three images of the new service to give us the idea of how it will be.
The first image, perhaps one of the most important, shows the type of encryption key to use the site to protect the contents. Specifically, this is a 2048-bit RSA encryption.
The second screenshot corresponds to the registration page in the service. As we can see, Kim Dotcom has opted for simplicity as it only requires an email address, a name and a password.
In the last catch has left us we see the file manager. Particularly, design reminds me a bit to Google Drive, ie it is a virtual hard disk where we can arrange our content into folders as if we did in our PC. And with the left column we see that it is possible to organize your contacts and use the platform to contact them via messages.
Dotcom Kim does not want to make the same mistakes that Megaupload and appears to be working hard to get a totally legal and above all safe. In this last section would emphasize as we have seen in the capture of encryption. This new platform? Triumph? Now there is little left to prove.Tags: Kim Dotcom, Mega, Megaupload
