Lytro reinvents adding the change in perspective and filters

Lytro is a that caught my attention from the beginning because, as a novelty, introduced the ability to focus after taking the photo . Now we turn to surprise with a software update that allows the change of perspective in an image. They have also included a variety of filters to modify the pictures quickly.

From the beginning, coming eager to innovate, to get out of the ordinary. Shoot now, focus later. That’s what made it different. How many pictures we have lost because we did not have time to focus properly? Well with that camera, the problem is just because we could focus later thanks to its software. Does that reopens the debate that the camera does not make the photographer? We will leave the discussion for another time.

Let’s focus on the news. One of them is to be able to take pictures with change of perspective. This is a new feature that allows you to convert the image into a three-dimensional space, ie moving the mouse on the picture we explore the different viewpoints. It is a way of giving life to photos that are no longer static. Below you will see an example.

If you have been wanting more, I advise you to take a look at the Lytro gallery .

The other novelty of note are the filters. However, they differ from those who are used to seeing, for example those of Instagram , because depending on where in the photo pinchemos the effect is applied differently. Moreover, we can choose some part of the image that apply unleashing creativity.

For now, an element that differentiates Lytro other cameras is that you get all the new software. Every time you update it like we have a new camera with many possibilities. The conventional model needed to evolve out another.

All Lytro camera holders can enjoy free update this software since 4 December. Are these pictures Animated which takes in the future? They will die? Still photos as it is slowly making the analog in favor of digital? The future will bring us the answer.
