Poke: Facebook competes against Snapchat

Poke: Facebook competes against Snapchat

Poke on Facebook is a new mobile application of this social network, initially only available for iPhone, which allows you to send messages to your contacts that expire after a certain time.

describes to Poke as “a new mobile experience through which you can share text, pictures and videos simple.” Content shared everything runs for 1, 3, 5 or 10 seconds maximum after which eliminates forever. In fact, to see the message there to hold down the screen until it expires. Apparently it is a direct competition to Snapchat , an application with similar functions quite popular among people who do sexting.

Curious and strange considering it is a product of the largest social network in the world which is not exactly known for their liberal practices. Poke Facebook is available for download in the App Store .
