Print Friendly adjusting the printing of web pages from Chrome

Tablets, smartphones and e-book readers allow us to surf the net and even send these devices websites visited from your computer desktop. Thanks to these devices is becoming less common that we have the need to print the contents of a web page, but even so, there are times when you need to dump the contents of a website to PDF or print it on paper. As you said my colleague Randal when we talked about CleanPrint & Save , if we feel the need to print, it is worth optimizing the pages for printing to save paper and ink, rather than from Chrome we can do with the extent Print Friendly & PDF .

Print Friendly is a cloud service that, for some time, we can send the URL of web pages and edit on the fly, the print content (removing excess images, text fragments, etc). These same features we have them available as extension for with which also can increase the font size of text or print directly to a PDF file (which is generated in the cloud and you can download).

Like most of Chrome extensions, after installation will materialize as an icon in the upper right corner of the interface (right next to the search bar and address, ie the Omnibox). Therefore, when you want to send to print the webpage you are visiting (or generate a PDF document from it), all you have to do is click on the icon of the extension and will be superimposed on a table page we will see a print preview that we may change before finally sending it to the or generate the PDF.

Since the extension uses the service in the cloud Print Friendly, so that adjustments can be made before printing, our team will have to be connected to the network, a requirement for small enough we can get good results with this extension (and of way to be more green save some paper and ink).
