Samsung working on the solution to the vulnerability of Exynos processor devices
Samsung has confirmed that it is working to fix it as soon as possible to the recent case of vulnerability that allows access to physical memory on some devices. In particular mobiles using Exynos processor Exynos 4210 and 4412.
The main problem lies in the kernel you are using Samsung, it allows any application regardless of whether it is external or downloaded from Google Play, access to physical memory and take control of the device, for both reading and writing data. Samsung declares that it is known issue and will be a software update as soon as possible to fix it.
We are aware of the security issue with the Exynos processor and plan to provide a software update to resolve it as soon as possible. The problem may arise when a malicious application operates on affected devices, however, there is no risk if you use authenticated and reliable applications. Samsung will continue to closely monitor the situation until the software solution is made available for mobile devices affected.
