Skype released its version for Windows 8

Those responsible for the communication platform through VoIP more popular in the world have just announced their new version, which comes to run on Windows 8, the new operating system from Microsoft. However, the developments go far beyond this support, and the new is simply spectacular.

First, thanks to its owner in a little over a year is Microsoft, have been devoted to that Skype is fully integrated into Windows 8. This means that there will be no way to lose a call or send us a message our contacts, because since we download Skype from the Windows Store, is always running in the background, unless the user manually closing session.

This will allow the tablet or computer with Windows 8, while we are surfing the Internet, watching video, or editing a document in Office Word, just to mention a few examples, we can receive notifications when a contact send us a message via Skype or of course, when receiving a call. This is possible because we can now link a with a Skype account, which also makes the contacts application on the new Windows, called People Hub, display profile information of our contacts in the VoIP platform.

Last but not least, Skype for comes with a user interface worthy of applause, thanks to reap the benefits of the new Windows and draw on their own interface, so you can move between the different sections of the application (contacts, bookmarks, etc.) with finger gestures, to “move” the screen from left to right or vice versa. His appearance is also very clean, tidy and somewhat minimalist, and when making a video call, we can see our contact in full screen or shrink the window and perform other tasks while continuing the conversation.

This new version of Skype will be available in the Windows Store from October 26, the same day that Windows 8 will hit the market.
