Sony Walkman NW-F800: new media player with Android
Sony has made official today a new family of media players in Japan, the Sony NW-Neuvos F800 Walkman line. And is that after Apple introduced its new iPod Touch , the competitors begin to respond with their own bets on the market, and these new Walkman will make us really attractive.
The platform that gives life to this new generation of Walkman players could not be other than the Android operating system, used on all mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) that have come out of Sony for a couple of years. In the case of the Sony NW-F800, works with the version of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The interior has a powerful NVidia Tegra 2 dual-core 1 GHz frequency, accompanied by 512 MB of RAM, WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity. For storage with capacities of 16, 32 or 64 GB.
Its screen is 3.5 inches and WVGA resolution. It supports Google Play Store to enjoy the huge catalog of apps for Android devices and also has support for numerous audio and video formats.
It will be available from October 20 in Japan in different colors and for a price of 230 euros for the 16GB version and 345 euros for the 64 GB, to change.
