Super Backup, an application to perform backups on Android

Super Backup, an application to perform backups on Android

While smartphones and tablets have become very popular among users (increasingly carry more weight as the preferred device when surfing the Internet) and have become objects we carry everywhere, it is noteworthy that despite containing important data (phonebook contacts, messages, emails, images, etc) there are still many users who do not take the time to safeguard this information by performing a backup. Devices allow us to synchronize our contacts with Google Contacts easily (and thanks to support from iOS also CardDAV ) but in the store terminal markers or SMS interest to preserve, for example, in order to restore them in case of a breakdown.

Many times we tend to remember the backups too late, ie when we have suffered some damage or have lost our terminal and he had saved the messages, the address book (which we stored locally and not synchronize with Google Contacts) or our browser bookmarks. To prevent such situations, it is very important awareness of the importance of backing up and take this dynamic into our daily use.

In the case of having an Android device, applications such as Backup Master or Backup GO can help us to keep our data safe, two proposals to which we have devoted a few minutes and we’ll join another alternative: Super Backup .

Super Backup is a free application that allows us to back up our address book, text messages stored in the terminal, the call log, browser bookmarks and our calendars, pouring all the information inside the card SD terminal. In addition to this protection of information, we will have the opportunity to automate this task scheduling to be performed automatically (freeing the user from this task). As we can make copies to the SD card, the application allows us to restore information from the SD card to phone (ideal if, for example, we are migrating data from one terminal to another or have lost data because of a fault).

Maybe make backups to the SD card terminal may seem useless if we lose the terminal or are victims of a robbery but since we can change the destination folder backups, we can combine this application with services like Dropbox (which Android client available) and then store the backups in a different physical location of the data source.

An application to consider as we can save more of an annoyance if, for example, we lose the information on our Android device.
