The next Nexus come from the hand of LG

The next Nexus come from the hand of LG

The latest smartphone to join the Google Nexus family was the Galaxy Nexus and take nearly a year after the sale, rumors start jumping around this saga terminal and upcoming models that may occur during the month of November. While this occurs awaited presentation between Google and some manufacturer, the rumors and predictions begin to move and, in fact, suggest that the Nexus family grow with devices from various manufacturers, namely Sony, LG and Samsung. While everything is still to be confirmed, today has leaked a catalog of specifications of an LG that draw which, if true, will be one of the following members of the Nexus family.

Logically, the information is still unconfirmed but draw a terminal manufactured by LG, and based on the Optimus G , with the following specifications:

  • Snapdragon S4 Processor Quad Core
  • 2 GB of RAM
  • True-HD screen with a resolution of 1280×768
  • 8 Megapixel Camera
  • Tactile function keys
  • Wireless charging (a novelty that attracted the most attention from the catalog of specifications)
  • Internal storage of 8 GB and 16 GB (depending on model)
  • Integrated battery (without possibility of withdrawal)
  • Deletion of SD card slot

The terminal, which has not yet assigned a trade name, has two details that draw attention powerfully (wireless charging and removing the SD) but, perhaps, the deletion of SD card slot is what most strikes of these specifications .

Those who like to use their smartphone to install multiple applications (which generate cache files to be cleaned from time to time) or store images, videos and music can find something short the 16 GB of storage space and the impossibility of expansion is a handicap that would start with this device (compared to other models on the market and other platforms where the storage space management is much more optimal). Something similar happens with the inability to remove the battery terminal, one of the weaknesses of the design and that, for example, prevents the replacement of larger capacity batteries or replaced easily in case of failure.

In any case, the information continues to be a and, as with any project, specifications can change and adjust better to the demands of the users (or the demand forecast), therefore, still have to wait until November to see which way to follow Google and its partners in this extension of the Nexus family.
