They discover a mammoth live cells Russian east

Following the discovery in April of a baby mammoth two years who had died more than 10,000 years in Siberia, a team of researchers has confirmed the discovery to the northwest of Yakutia living cells of a mammoth .

The team, formed by paleontologists from Korea, USA, Russia, Sweden, Canada and England, has informed that it would be fat, hair and bone marrow of the animal that lived in prehistoric times to 100 meters deep.

According account Semyon Grigoryev, head of the expedition:

In a unique area under a depth of about 100 meters, we have discovered a soft tissue, skin and bone marrow of a mammoth.

The news comes months after Russia and South Korea signed an agreement to clone the animal . All thanks to the bone marrow of a femur found in Siberia. According to it, the investigation will try to get the animal extinct for over 10,000 years.

After hearing the news a few hours ago, the first to show interest in the find has been the controversial scientist Hwang Woo-Suk, the man behind the possible return to life. And that Hwang is known for being the first man to clocar a dog in 2005, which looks set to return to Earth creature.
